What I learned in 2014

i'm stii fairly new to all this three and a half years
So a lot of illusions delusions are getting sorted out.

1) I've become a G & L fanboy. They just fit and as much as I thought I wanted a precision sound, those MFD pickups got to me.

2) I thought I wanted flats, but it turns out I like a little buzz and grit and a lot of mids.

3) I thought I wanted medium weight strings, but it turns out I really like the feel and tension of lighter weight strings. I may sacrifice some tone, but I end up playing and practicing more on the lighter weight strings.

4) when it comes to effects boxes, I thought i wanted that SVT sound, but it turns out I'm more an aguilar tone hammer and diamond compressor fan. That diamond box is especially choice.

Ok I jumped a few forums, but it was all one year.
