    I call my bass "Dionne."

    Why?

    Because it's a Warwick.
    Get it?

Afriend has an antique white Fender Strat. His guitar is named "Betty." As in Betty White.
    Get it?

    Sorry on both counts.

    Depends.

My 5-string fretted is "The Henderson", because it was built for Scott Henderson. The 5 string fretless is "The PentaBuzz", The Fender I call "The Precision", The Steinberger I call " The Steinberger".

The PBC, I call "For sale". Someone buy it already.

    ...am I pressing too hard?

  16. What's with you people all giving your basses chicks names.

    My Cort is called Sedgewick.
I dunno if it's a chicks name or a guys name or even a name at all but there you go
    Sedgewick.

My old Yamaha piece of crape was christaned according- "Crappious Pickerupious"

  17. My first bass, some Hondo, was affectionately called "piece of junk".

My Ibanez SR405 is called "Lord Alex" after Alex Webster.

My soon-to-be-acquired Cort NA5 will probably be called "King Eric" after Eric Langlois.

My sometime-in-the-future-to-be-acquired Modulus Q5 will probably be called... "Emperor Chris" after Chris Richards.. or maybe not.

I call my 5 string "Tiger Wood" because the cocobolo has an orange and black stripe pattern.

I call my 4 string long scale "Stanley Clarke" 'cause that's who I got it from.

I call my medium scale tenor bass "TBFKAB". The Bass Formerly Known As Brian, because before it was tuned ADGC, I had it tuned as a piccolo bass. (Brian Piccolo...get it?)

I call my 6 string Ken Smith and my fretless Warwick Thumb "Pipe Dreams" 'cause my wife won't let me buy 'em. ;)

    Peace,

    James

    From my previous post:
"I call my medium scale tenor bass "TBFKAB". The Bass Formerly Known As Brian, because before it was tuned ADGC, I had it tuned as a piccolo bass. (Brian Piccolo...get it?) "
