    Just a heads up. If its music related it goes in a different forum other than OT. This forum is for non music related threads.

    Over to recordings!

    Uh.. I'm not good in transposing but I would guess that you want to know a band with rather high bass volume and a good bassist.

    Well, I'm not a bassist myself(yet) but I do listen to music a lot. So here is my oh so humble recommendations.

    Tribal tech-Fusion Jazz
    Watchtower-Progressive<->Metal
    Tool-Industrial Rock ( or so they say )
    Ozric Tentacles-Progressive<->Electronica

    I guess you wouldnt want to hear some Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, Les Claypool etc. so thats what comes to my mind now.

  18. The intro to the song "Frightened" by New Model Army is dominated by the bass. They've actually always been a good bass band.
