I see them mentioned in posts but I don't know what they are.

    Thanks,

They are cabinets based on the Faital 8PR200 8" driver. This driver goes as loud as most 10's. So the single 8 is about 13 1/2 x 10 3/4 x 11 1/2 and weighs about 10 lbs in a fiberglass composite enclosure. The 88 is a double 8 that is 21 1/2 by 11 1/2 by 13 1/2 deep and weighs about 21 Lbs. in fiberglass composite.
    So---very small and light.

  3. The Crazy8 is one of greenboy's (fEARful) new little mini 1 or 2-way bass cabinets, perfect for practicing at home, coffee shop gigs and whatnot - don’t expect it to compete with the 12/6, 15/6 and etc - but, the Faital 8PR200 is a serious little driver and since it’s a greenboy design I bet it’s a really nice little 1 or 2-way bass cab. And I think cost varies depending on options, shipping and builders.

EDIT: PS - And I’d recommend sticking with authorized greenboy builders.

Greenboy hasn't released the plans to anyone other than his Authorized Builders. Got burned too hard, long and badly with the fEARful experience.

Well let's say he got his ass scorched a few times ;) Nobody can develop any piece of gear without people pooping on it for no reason, and he was no exception. But he didn't want to build them anyway, and he made a name for himself with it, and now he's getting paid and still doesn't have to build them himself, so I think of his early fEarful experiences as "interning for the big leagues" ;)

^^^ Those look soooo sweet.

Greenboy has done the bass community a lot of good with his designs and collaborations with a few other great minds. These have led to some killer cabs!

I'm the co-designer of the Crazy 8's and I build them in composite. In composite the speaker weighs a touch over 10 lbs. 13 1/4 tall 10 3/4 wide and 11 1/2" deep

  18. Thanks but, that’s the 2-way (with tweeter) Crarzy8 in the post #2 link.

Someone please post some pictures of the 1-way (without tweeter) Crazy8 here in this thread - plus, what is the size and weight. What I’m curious about is - are the Crazy8 1-way and 2-way cabinets the same size or is the 1-way cab smaller and lighter than the 2-way - and if so, what is the size and weight of the 1-way? Thanks

The size is the same. With tweeter the cab weighs about 12 1/2 lbs. in composite. The cabs are identical. The 8PR200 goes near flat to 5k so most opt for no tweeter.I'm finishing a few builds with and without. I'll post more pics---oh wait---you don't like those round grills.
