Maybe I just think too much but don't you wonder what is beyond death? I mean that moment when your existence ends and the light turns black, what do you think happens? I certainly hope that the light just doesn't go out and that's it.

I was thinking that maybe it'll be like falling into a deep sleep except you never wake up. Whatever makes you happy, tick, sad, etc. will be what you'll be dreaming the rest of eternity. That's probably why you should live a happy life so that when you die you'll have a happy dream.

Sorry I am not an atheist nor do I want to bring up a religious stand point. I'm just thinking from a realistic point of view.

Sorry buddy, but no matter what people want to believe in or hope for, I'm guessing that's what happens.

  5. I swear, Scenes From A Memory is my favorite DT album and one of my favorite albums of all time.

A great concept album, and just a great album in general.

I'm willing to bet it's the same for all living things, but believing otherwise is a source of comfort for many.

  8. Well, in the extremely abridged dictionary I'm holding, it's the word debacle, and I find that funny as hell.

    no thanks for now:)
you know, people always complain about getting older.........
I always say it beats the alternative, because even for those who believe that there is something after this life, there is always the fear of the unknown

Honestly, I'm convinced it's that fear that compels many to believe in "something" after death. If you think about it, it's practically impossible to imagine "nothing", which is what I'm suggesting there is after you die. "Nothing" is a pretty difficult concept.

I agree with you. Myself though, I still believe that there's something. What? I don't know nor am I suggesting what. I believe that there's something based on some life experiences that are a topic for another thread:D

What's beyond death? Sleeping without dreaming. No there isnt a heaven. No there isnt a hell. The human body is a biological organism. When the switch is in the off position its lights out for good.

I wish I could believe in afterlife though.

    I'd love to be convinced.
