    Restraint. As in getting back to keeping it simple and solid. After playing the electric bass for over 25 years I talk a lot about how much I love Duck Dunn's playing, I still end up playing like some white wanker trying to impress everybody.

    Just wrapping up a demo project with another local musician here in Ptown called Abri. We actually wrote about 12 songs but only 4 made it to the demo ... you all know how it goes. Probably looking for another project soon ... maybe something a little harder.

    I have a similar issue. I love Duck Dunn, but when I play live I just get too caught up in the moment sometimes. My new year's resolution and woodshead will be to simplify my playing and work on tone.
