I was trying to learn a song by tab and a few of the notes had a G beside of them and what I understand it means ghost. How do you ghost a note? Thanks Steve
A ghost note is a note that has no distinct pitch, it's merely percussive. It's done by muting the string with the left hand and plucking the note as normal. It should be kind of a "thud" or "thock". Mmm... vague descriptions. For future reference, be sure to use the search tool. I'm pretty sure we just had a thread on ghost notes a little while ago. Good luck!
