  1. What is in your rack and what does it do to help your sound etc....

  2. Nothing yet.

    But I will have a
    QSC RMX 850.
    Ampeg SVP Pro.
    Behringer MDX1400.
    Furman Pl Plus.
    Korg Rack Tuner.

I only have the pre and compressor right now, but I will get the power amp Wednesday.

    Rack 1:

    • Korg DTR-1 tuner
    • RackRider Power Conditioner
    • Kern IP-777 preamp
    • FMR RNC with funk logic rackmount kit
    • QSC PLX2402

    Rack2:
    • x wire
    • Tubeworks RT904 Blue Tube
    • 3 empty spaces

I'm planning on either buying or making a rackmount loop switcher and putting my pedals in a rack drawer or shelf to fill up the three empty spaces.

  10. For now just an Ampege SVT-3pro and a power conditioner. I've never used effects, so my rack will probably always just contain a head and the power conditioner.

  11. My rack (top left-right, then down)-
Alesis Nano-Compressor, Shure ULX/S Digital Wireless, Peavey Max Bass Pre-Amp, Korg DTR1000 Tuner, Peavey DPC1400X Digital Power Amplifier.

The whole thing weighs just under 40lbs and pumps out 1400 watts of power! I use the Nano-Comp as a limiter (in the effects loop of the Max), but other then that there's no effects to speak of. Just good, clean bass!

  12. Hmmmm... let's see.

    ADA MP2 Tube Guitar Preamp
DMB 266XL Dual Channel Compressor (channel 1 through ADA MP2 effect loop, channel 2 through GK effect loop set as limiter)
    GK 1001RB bass head

The whole thing weighs about 45 lbs. Small, powerful, and to the point. Plus, I just put a set of Telefunkens in the ADA. *drool*

Killer rack and not too bad in the weight department. I especially love the new BBE pre because it sounds so sweet and has the sonic maximizer built in.
