Alrighty, Im a nub for a bass player, only a touch over a year under my belt, so Im not down with the undergroudn world yet :p

What exactly IS NAMM? Is there a website, could a 16 year old get in? :)

Also, any info on the Darryl Jones Sig Lakland. Ive been drooling over those for a while now.

  2. It was a war in the 1970s.

Its actually a music industry tradeshow. Companies show off all their nice new shiney products. I'm not sure of the convention's website. Try googling it.

$175 for lunch! You stole that food! I paid $175 for water bottles!!! (not to mention walking all the way outside to get them) :D

Most of us don't pay that $175 to go, most (me) mooch off a friend or relative in the industry and go as a visitor through their company. I went through Mackie.

BTW, Mackie had a GREAT display this year, too bad they got bought out for so little. I hope some of you guys got to check it out.

Hmm, time to find a friend in the business then :D

  12. I went home for lunch...

And it only cost me 40 bucks to get a pass from a local music shop.
And last year I photocopied a pass and got in. I wouldn't have been able to do it this year, becuase it seemed like they actually cared to check these things this time around.
