What is overspray?

    I am not bass construction smart enough to know exactly what someone means when they refer to overspray. Is this just the general description of the finish that is applied in connection
    with the final coatings? Is it in reference to a refinish? To me it implies too much was applied, so if anyone could clear up my cornfusion, I would appreciate it.

    overspray is generally considered excess paint/shielding, etc...that lands on an unmasked non-cosmetic area.
