What do you think about an SWR full stack ? They have one at www.musiciansfriend.com for about $ 1200 dollars. Its 400w and it has 1 410 cab and 1 15 cab. Does anyone know what I am talking about?
If you do, Is this a good stack? I am looking to buy a full stack and I am willing to pay about 1200 dollars. What is the best setup I could get for that amount of money ?

I also saw that deal, However I beleive its a 2 by 10 and not the 4 by 10. I personally like the 210 better. Anyway, sound like a great deal to me. I might get one as well.

I am guessing this is a workingmans series stack? I'd personally go used....I always do. I scored an SWR Goliath Sr. 6x10, a custom calzone road case for the cab, and an SWR Bass 750 head for the $1200 you are talking about spending on a WM. All mint condition, no regrets!
  4. Best full stack for under $1000 right here:

You're right!!!! hes an imposter... I'm sorry but we must Kill you now:)

Before you go buying a big rig just for the sake of having a big rig, maybe you should look at and actually play some stuff before.. I've played som of the swr workingmans stuff before that sounded pretty crappy..
  8. I'd get an Eden D410XST from Gard, then spend the remainder on a head. Probably an SWR 750.

Depends on how you define 'best'.
    best tone?
    best portability?
    most impressive looking?

    ok, loudest and best tone
  11. Go used! You can get a high end head with at least 500W for $600 or less and a high end 4X10 for another $500-600.
