No can do. Heavier than Aluminium hasn't been used to make basses.
that's almost as bad as saying you like P basses, the natves will be upset.
You must be new here. And also in high school.
Well, you might as well leave the forum forever if you can't take some ribbing. Also, this is the quintessential sarcastic question asked here, as it has been asked more than any other. Take a look around the site and make use of the info that is already here.
tsk tsk tsk :scowl:
Great way to start off on TB. Be prepared.
TRyan I like your sig *fist bump*
Theres no best bass for any genre. Just play heaps of brands & see what you like. Also that question has been asked alot in the past on this forum. So much that its become a joke. So sorry for the people who will make fun of this thread & have fun in your quest for a sweet bass to play the music you love.
Subbed. Going to make myself some popcorn.
When I read your comment, I thought to myself, I've been there. I still feel that way sometimes, been gassing for a new amp.
Sorry, won't help. Good luck.
Yeah the "What's the best (fill in the blank) for metal?" is kind of a running cliche joke around here, no offense intended. Do read the forum rules, though, so you don't run afoul of the admins. The aggressive outburst is really not in keeping with the spirit of the forums or the letter of the rules, so hang around for a bit and get the feel of things before selecting a mode of expression.
I think you should use a metal bass for metal...
Probably a good skill to learn as a bassist. Everyone knows we don't get the chicks.
*sigh* Just get a P bass...
Don't listen to these haters. They're wrong. There IS a best bass for metal, and anyone who pretends there isn't is just jealous because their totally inefficient p basses aren't up to the task.
I love it when this pic pops up in threads. Thank you for bringing some sunshine into my day.
