What is 'the best' note on the bass?

    I just cruised the board and came across so many 'what is the best' threads that it irked me.

    Get my point?

    Mine has one on the back that reads:

    "In case of emergency, this may used as a flotation device."

    I am somewhat partial to it.

    I am disgusted by the "Notism."

    I envision a world where all notes can exist in perfect harmony without segregation. A world without favorites.

    Where we no longer are divided by key signature barriers. A world where all notes are free to sustain. Where we no longer look down upon some just because they were born flatted or sharp.

    It sure would make improv jazz a h3ll of a lot easier!!!!! :)

    yes, all those notes are good,
    the best, however, is
    a note not played
