Answer that honestly, then tell me if you still give a rat's ass what the meaning of "is" is.
my, that certainly is some funny contemporary humor.
It is the third person singular form of the verb "to be" when conjugated in the english language.
If something "is" then it exists, or it is in the process of being or doing.
Think of it this way, if it is not is the state of "is not", then it "is".

Not that that makes it any clearer. Is is one of those words that doesn't really have a definition, it's just used to help form sentances, yeah?
