I have bought a "Custom Made" Ibanez Soundgear Bass, but there is no numbers or information on it. Can you please help me by finding out which soundgear model i have ?

Here are some photos ( click to enlarge them )

  2. A frontal would be nice.
  3. dude, a picture of the front of the body is just about an essential.

Try emailing Ibanez with the serial number?

From the woods I'd hazard a guess that it's a SR-1300, one of the better, if not best models that Ibanez ever released and the basis of the "K5" Fieldy signature.

...and just for your knowledge, the "Custom Made" inlay on late 80's-to-90's Ibanez doesn't truly mean "Custom Made". They placed it on their higher-end instruments, typically MIJ. Think of it as the precursor to the "Prestige" designation - some extra TLC on the production line, but not a custom instrument. Ibanez has never had a custom shop open to the public, the closest being their "USA Custom" line in the early 90's which was limited to exotic tops and electronics.

looking on the neck it looks just like my SDGR 1015 I used to own. Although mine didn't have gold hardware but a black, metallic one.

Also the 1015 did have a battery on the backside, next to the electronics department.

The wood looks quite the same, though.

Well, seems like it isn't a 1015 but something not far away.

Try going through Meinl. If they can't help, they can probably point you in the right direction.
