This thread was inspired by several recent 'book related' threads.

Simply state the title and author of what you consider to be the greatest book ever written. Non-fiction or Fiction. Maybe even say why you believe it's the greatest if you like.

This is like a "greatest album ever produced" thread. Some people will unequivocally state one book, but I don't think there is one single great one, nor could I personally choose one.

Yeah, I know. That's why I said 'why you believe' it's the greatest. The point isn't to argue about it.

This thread was reported five minutes after it was opened because some members feared bible thumping was going to take place. I decided to leave it open because I thought I shouldn't patronize TBers and have a little faith. I guess I was wrong.

If you can't keep your personal views *personal*, I strongly encourage you to refrain from posting altogether. This is a final warning.

    I'll decide.

And I decide who gets banned. If it's a sin, I'll repent on my deathbed
