I have nothing to disclose at this time.
I know I've seen it posted before...the search is not revealing anything.

It's either in Arlington or Alexandria...

    Thanks.

you prolly want Action Guitar, which is not a "high-end" bass shop, but deals in lots of nice vintage and new gear. Boo-teek effects, too.

It's in Falls Church off West Street.

Some ridiculous players show up there. Humble cats who play really really well. Not a GC slap & pop shred fest. Great ambience and Jong is the man.

You can see all the exceptional stuff we talk about here.
You can play a Schroeder next to a wall of Epifani next to your Bergs next to EA etc. You can put the AG751 on a NV610 and know what folks are talking about. Pres and good prices on DR strings.

    I don't work for Jong.:)

it is Jive sound, great shop. However I'll say I got some nice USA G&L's one new/one used at Action, as mentioned nice vintage stuff, just thought I'd mention that becasue although Jong has G&L tribute, I don't think he has any USA. Although you did say high end, so go to Jive Sound!

Need to do another road trip to Jive Sound. I was thinking about a road trip to Rocket, but it's 300 miles one way for me.

  12. Atomic Music, in Greenbelt MD is about the best my budget can afford!

If you prefer used gear, give them a look... you can find real gems there from time to time :D

+1 for Jive Sound. Jong is a good guy, and his selection is amazing. I can't even play the stuff in his shop (I play lefty) but I love drooling over the selection.

VA is a big state. That's over five hours away from the OP. NYC is closer.

I want to visit Jive sometime. A few months ago, I emailed Jong 3-4 times about something and he was very responsive and cool about the whole thing.
