Seriously, I've been digging around this site a bit, seeing what there is to see and what not and I keep coming across all these clubs, there seems to be one for everything:meh: Why?
  2. It's just a bit of fun.

No clue. I'm "in" a couple, but some of them are...weird.

Can't tell you, it's a secret. You'll have to join one to find out. ;)
  7. If you think TalkBass Clubs are weird, then you must be new to the internet.

It is for people with the same kind of bass, amp or whatever to communicate and talk about what they like about their "thing" with out starting a thread and having half the board posting how much they hate that thing & what a POS it is. Rickenbacker and Gibson come to mind.

    Join the club!
  13. ...but they still let YOU post.... What good are these clubs if they can't keep out a guy who calls himself "nutdog?" Sheesh!
  14. Seriously. Even for a forum, this place is very, very tame.
  15. Actually these "clubs" are all part of a secret society....like the "skull and bones"...or the masons.....we all have our rituals, but they usually involve secret handshakes and togas....:D

Seriously though.....they're just for the hell of it...:smug:
  16. They keep your car from getting ripped off.

Pretty sure there's a "no club club" also...
  18. somebody obviously doesn't understand the first rule of no club club
  19. Just another way to list what gear you have, proudly acknowledge one's mediocrity, etc.
  20. Its also handy for asking questions. Instead of everyone who wants a Warmoth starting a new thread, you can ask in the Warmoth club, and people who know will answer you. Same for P basses, Bongos, whatever.
