thats those new budget cirrus's sorta. Theyre supposed to be based on the cirrus shape but they are not close to the quality i hear. There are some major differences, but the cirrus is a much better bass. I havent played one but ive talked to sum people who had and they were not impressed. Does not live up the cirrus legacy.
I haven't seen those on this side of the pond, but from what I hear they have bolt on necks, and different pickups and preamps. They might be OK for the price, but they are not in the same class with a neck through Cirrus.
its a Peavey Zephyer (not sure how to spell it), your right, its a budget model, (albeit with a thru neck fairly nice for the price, but i just want a new fretless!!!!!!! Richard Bona rules all of u *Si*

I asked a few questions about them on Peavey's support forum a month or two ago. According to A.J. (a Peavey forum support rep), there are no plans to market it here in the States (only in Europe). Here's a link from Peavey's Europe site. http://www.peavey-eu.com/c4c5.html It IS kind of a budget version of the Cirrus. If I remember correctly, the 5 string is a neck-thru and the 4 string is available as either a bolt-on or neck-thru. the choice of body woods & pickups make it look suspiciously a lot like my Carlo Robelli cheapie sandwich (which is made in Vietnam). - Frank
