  2. fender-esque japanese bolt-neck... could be from one of several makers from the 60s or early 70s.
    the kind of thing you used to be able to get in the sears catalog!

    At least the price is fair. It could be made into a fun fixer-upper. At only $99 right now, that isn't too bad.

    I like the way the seller uses his marketing skills.

    Its a "vintage" bass, not just plain "old" :D

    Short scale, most likely from the same factory as Teisco and St George.

    It looks like a "Sakai" to me ... read cheap,horrible, nasty,unplayable ...... save your money!

    Looks horrible to me - like junk you see in pawn shops - I wouldn't give it house room!!
