I've had a randall RB30XM amp that i use for practicing for quite some time now, and it seems to have stopped working. the power turns on, but the speaker doesnt make any noise. I connected a CD player to the speaker, and it seemed to work fine. does this mean that there is a problem with a connection somewhere?

Possibly, but its hard to tell. Might be a connection, might be an electronics issue.

how did you connect the cd player to the speaker?
was it a cd player into a reciever or poweramp - or did you plug the cd player into the amps power section?
