I have been playing bass for about 8 years now. I currently only play Warwicks, and usually only warwick corvette pro 4 strings. That is my bass to practice/perform/record I love it. The tone is amazing and the playability rocks. Live I go crazy swing around jump around wing them around in the air, and it has never let me down... Well other than replacing the input jacks. I have played alot of others, fenders, peaveys, EB's, tobias, warrior, gibson, ibanez, list goes on, but by far warwick is my thing.

  2. I myself prefer having one of everything;)

Unfortunately, I don't have any money:(

Believe it or not, i've been to NAMM (winter), 2 times, but I still haven't played a whole lot of basses. I didn't really know all of the good brands until I started browsing here 4 hours daily :):). But the ones that I like a whole lot, are my Ibanez SR3005 (esol Presige), and Warwicks a lot. The Warwicks are hella nice... But again, I havn't played very many high quality brands like Carl Thompson stuff...
If I could have any brand, it would be my Ibanez, or a Warwick... That's all I really like SO FAR...

I choose Fender for the following reasons:

    • their sound is definitive, both live and in the studio (yeah, I do that)
    • their classic good looks never appear dated
    • the aftermarket parts industry could rival a small third world country in terms of financial worth
    • there's a Fender branded bass for virtually any budget.

I like the brass band from the Polish National Home on 49th St. in Plainfield. The Newark Salvation Army band is a close second. :D

I don't have a favorite bass brand. Some basses I like, some I don't. The only bass that I own more than 1 of the same brand is SX!

Might as well ask what is my food of choice. As much as I love sushi, I wouldn't want to eat it all the time!

    This one (Elrick):

It's not my best sounding bass, maybe not my best looking, but it fits me like a glove, weighs 8.2 lbs, is versatile, and if I only had one bass, this would be it.
