Wow, no one mentioned The Knife or The Fountain of Salmacis yet? I love those tunes.
A few people already mentioned Firth of Fifth, Supper's Ready, Watcher of the Skies, and The Musical Box, which are also phenomenal.

I really loved the Gabriel stuffs but thought the Collins/Hackett period was their golden era. "Seconds Out" was a revelation and one of the greatest live albums ever.
There's a lot of great material, but put me down for "Carpet Crawlers"

Actually, I think it's pretty funny you remember what I said about that song in one of the earlier Song Uno threads.For all you fans of OLD Genesis, you need to see The Musical Box. They perform the most amazing "tribute band" recreation of a band I've ever seen. Actually, they've moved forward in history somewhat and are now doing a "Trick of the Tail" tour, which I hope to see when they come to Philadelphia. Being at their shows feels like traveling back in time.
So many great songs mentioned already. How about "Mad Man Moon"? Yet another superb Tony Banks composition. Practically all of my favorite Genesis tunes were written by Tony, and his solo albums contain some more gems.
But if I had to pick one tune, I'd probably go with the Duke's Travels/Duke's End suite.

I do like the Phil Collins Genesis. I thought they brought a really quirky, wonderful musicianship to rock/pop music. And..this was back before you had to be pretty and 19 to be popular.
Probably my favorite albums are Abacab, Genesis, Invisible Touch and We Can't Dance. I do like Duke as well.
