    I'd love to play a Fodera and see what all the hype is about. I soon shall as there is a local store that is about to become a dealer.

    A Dingwall 6-string. I want to see how I like the whole fanned-fret thing (i.e. if it's friendly on my fingers.) I'd also like to try a Status Stealth 6-string headless (lined fretless) to feel how it balances and hear how it sounds. On that same note, I'd also like to sample a Basslab STD 6. And though I've ragged on it some, I would like to try the Yamaha John Myung bass. I'd also like to try a Zon Sonus 6 lined fretless, as Zon's fretless basses are said to be awesome.
  9. hey if we are going to dream lets dream BIG;

    I'll go for the "funk Machine" and the "bass of doom"

    of course I am not worthy of either bass :rolleyes:
    i would certainly turn into a pillar of ash to behold the holy grail.

    I am a little more realistic. I wouldn't want to play a $3,000 + custom because I know I would never buy one.

    I'd like to try a fanned fret bass.

    I'd also like to do a test run of PhilBiker's custom jazz he is selling. http://www.hammfamily.org/users/philip/GreenBass/
    I want to replace my 4 string I have right now- Phil's bass looks like a pretty sweet deal but I would want to play it first.
  11. i bougth an kubicki, and i wanna buy another one or 5,but they're only $2,995us brand new ;) , and possibly an alembic...finally i get to test some alembics shortly..woo hoo

    Well, as a lefty living in Hungary, where higher-end basses, especially lefties are rarer than lawyers and politicians in Heaven, I'd like to try a whole lot of basses, but I cant :( :crying:

    The highest-end bass I have so far tried is my Corvette 6

    Ibanez SR prestige 1306.
  18. I want to try a 7 string fretted singlecut bass with one pup, straight to jack. Similar principle to the Fodera AJ but 34" scale not 36" and the jack on the side not the facing.

    Either built by Martin Petersen of Sei [to go with my fretless 7] or one by our very own JP. I haven't decided yet.

    As many as possible - it's very inspirational for me to play many different basses. You get new sounds in your head and you might just come up with a new bassline or a melody.

    I'd like to try a Bebbensee, an Elrick, a Benavente, a Roscoe, a Dingwall, a Zon, ...

    Now that I started typing I realize that there are so many that I want to try, especially the ones I can't afford.
