I just refinished the neck on my OLP MM2 bass and got some stuff on the headstock and ended up refinishing it, so it's logoless right now which I think looks stupid, so I'm trying to figure out what kind of logo to put on it. I don't mind putting another OLP logo on it, but before I do I wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

(Mod note: Edited. Don't use that word in that way here at TB, m'kay?)

Honesty, above all. Mark it so people know what it is.

  6. Now that's a problem, see, I think the same thing of the OLP logo.

Put a Lakland logo on it. :rollno:

A friend of mine had a similar situation. He had put a Warmoth neck on his Jazz. That fixed a BUNCH of probs that that particular bass had had, but he hated the blank look.

So he drew a cartoon of himself on the headstock and finished over it. Very very cool. If I ever do a Warmoth bass I am likely to draw a cartoon of me in the same way he did his.

Except mine would probably look a lot more like Mr. French from Family Affair/ Paul Proudholme(sp?)/ young Santa Claus, and less like Bootsy Collins in (mostly) normal clothes.

You could put a bass clef there, I think that would look cool.
