What kind of software do you need to open .flac's?

  1. As the title says. Archive.org has a lot of full shows in .flac format. How do I deal with these? I'm using Itunes- will it handle the format transfer?

Don't know, but there's a Winamp plugin (http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=131643) that handles FLACs. And you can always download the converter utility, and make WAVs or whatever format you'd want to use with Itunes.

I use a program called FLAC Frontend.

You should be able to search on it and find a free copy.

For other file types I use mkw audio compression tool.

    For downloads I use FileZilla.

  4. Thanks! It worked, created a mess of copied files. But it worked. This is good.
