i´ve just bought an Aria ABG, and it came with standard stainless steel rounds. What´s the best option for an ABG? bronze wounds? semi-flats? standard rounds. i dont´want a very dark sound (so i am probably not considering tape wound)

Right now I use Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats on my fretless ABG, but many folks swear by T-I's Acousticore strings. Both are expensive, and the latter are pretty low tension, though supposedly possessing killer tone.

I've also heard people using bronze roundwounds and conventional nickel roundwounds. I tried D'Addario Half Rounds once, and they were pretty good except for a horrible low B.
