  1. I personally use either Boss Metalzone or Overdrive depending on how aggressive I want it to be, and yet, I'm still not satisfied.........

If I used one, it'd be the MXR M-80, which I bought from Skweetis Hooch. But I don't.

Ditto on the Fulltone Bass-Drive. I have been very impressed with mine. Prior to the Fulltone, I had been using a Daddy-O, which although it is a guitar unit, sounded pretty darn good on bass. At less than half the price of the Fulltone, I would say it's a good value, but it does lose some low end (not as much as many others), where the Fulltone stays, well, "full."

  7. EBS MultiDrive. Nice sound but I rarely need overdrive

FF - I've been working on reviews to get to you. I'll finish up sometime soon, hopefully.
    As for my overdrive/distortion/fuzz effects:
Right now I'm using a Tubeworks 901 Real Tube pedal, a Big Muff Pi, and a Rick Gram Frankentone.

As far as overdrive goes, I'm using a Mesa V-Twin right now.

I'm not going into all the other distortion units I have. It's sick!

  16. i use a Pro Co Rat. it gets you a good distortion. if you like the distortion on the bass intro of Tool's "H", then youll like this, its gets that sound perfect.

i think for a less aggresive(4 and lower) it lacks punch and power.

what a really want, however, is a Digitech X-series bass drive. the clips on musiciansfriend.com sound gnarly.

i have an ibanez fat cat and and sans amp gt-2. used to have a rat and an odb-3. not bad.

however cliff em all...i was under the impression chancellor used the gt-2 much more than the rat. infact if you toy wiht it enought the gt-2 will make those rat noises....
  18. got any soundclips of the sans amp gt-2??
