What makes a Low F# string good?

    That's for JT and the other |||||||'ers

    In the low B thread, people is complaining about how hard is to find a good low B bass... and I was always courious about that...

    How does your F# feel? Is it floppy at all? Is it tight?

    when i use a .150" it is a bit floppy, but now that i've tried out a .168" (thanks jauqo ;) ) i like how tight and responsive that is.

    the biggest issue i've found with regards to a tight low string performance is a very rigid neck.
