What potentiometers should I get for my P Bass?

    Hey all,

I was thinking about getting new pots for my Precision Bass. It has the vol - tone control layout. Who makes the best ones? I know Fender claims to have a "no-load" potentiometer, but I'm not sure if that's a good one to use or not.

    Any suggestions?

  3. P basses are designed to work with 250K pots. I've found that Ernie Ball ones are excellent quality. Some guys have had great results with P basses by bypassing the pots altogether, and wiring the pickup direct to the output socket. This gives a true "no-load" situation.
