I have Bartolini passive p/j set in my Godin and im going to replace the pots because they dont seem to be working as well as they could. (jazz pup volume is almost like an all or nothing thing and the p bass one isnt very gradual, there is a steep increase in volume at the end)

what 'k's pots should i get for bartolini passive pups, 9J and 8s i believe.

'standard' is 250K. 500K will give you more highs

Assuming that it gives me more highs, does that mean it will have less lows? Or just..normal lows , with boosted highs?

It's not _boosted_ highs. The 500K pot lets more of the natural highs through, the 250K pot gets less of them. Lows should be the same.

250kohm, yes. With active pickups, ie those with a preamp inside the pickup housing itself, you can even use lower resistance pots such as 25k
