Looking for a semi hollow short scale with a big body. Going out looking at some today. What's the Largest one out there. Like a jumbo acoustic??

Semi hollow or hollow? One isn't really an acoustic bass. A semi hollow has a block or center strip under the bridge and size will have very little effect, because it is an ELECTRIC bass.
A semi hollow short scale- The Guild starfire is hard to beat.
Something in the wording of your post (pardon me if I'm wrong) suggests you are looking for an acoustic bass, none of which will be semi-hollow.

Does anyone make a Jazzbox bass? That'd be pretty big. At least depthwise.

If I may- a fully hollow body would have hella issues with feedback at rock band volumes. I have a Jack Casady, and sometimes run into issues on smaller stages. But I also use fuzz and play WITH the feedback on certain songs, so really whether its a bug or feature is up to you.
  11. I also am unsure if we are talking acoustic bass guitar (with onboard amplification), or thinline electro-acoustic with magnetic pickups. of the latter, the largest i have encountered are these, both rare birds.

Custom-Kraft Bone Buzzer and Gretsch 6070, respectively. If the Gretsch speaks to you and you want short-scale, I suggest you give Eastwood a look.

Readily available? I would say fender starcaster is the only ones you will find in a shop to try that meet those criteria.

Ibanez AFB200 has about the same size body and construction as an arch top guitar with 30" scale.

A few that come to mind.

Ibanez Artcore, has a fairly fat jazz box type body, but I think they are hollow, not semi hollow.

    Gretch Electromatic is semi

    as is the Eastwood classic

I have the Gretsch 5440, and it’s full hollow. I wanna say the short scale Gretsch is full hollow as well.

Disclosure: I am not a great bass player
The biggest semi-hollow body bass I've seen is the Ibanez Thundercat sig but it's long scale.
Also the heaviest bass I have ever had in my hands.
