What should I buy?

    A 2011 60th anniversary p-bass

    Or

    A 2016 mint p-bass with nice to have but not super important add ons?

    I say anniversary p-bass. When it comes to P-basses, sometimes less is more.

    One has "vintage" pick ups and some kind of special capicitor. the anniversary one has lolar pick ups.
