It's 4:30 and Jen gets home at 6:00. I'm thinking something with chicken in it as I have a ton of chicken breasts in the freezer, though I will probably have to go to the grocery anyway depending on what I decide on.

We're not vegans or vegetarians, though I'm not fond of mushrooms.

    Thoughts?

Ok. Make either (1) Pork chops with the "Shake & Bake" for pork chops, get some Rice-a-Roni rice pilaf, and some brussel sprouts, or (2) Minute steaks, mashed potatoes (the frozen section kind that you add milk to), and little baby peas. This is my entire repoitre - hope it helps

  3. Fettucini Alfredo with chicken. Throw some cajun seasoning on after putting the noodles, chicken and sauce on the plate. Muy yummy.

I was going to say make a pizza, but I see you don't have enough time.

Guess that means you have to order one!!

Do you think you can whip up a chicken Tikka Masala in time? Maybe make a nut pilau on the side (coloured rice and a variety of nuts are essential) and make some curried potatos with the Tikka sauce/marinade.

  6. chicken parm with a side of angel hair pasta. some crusty italian bread and pesto. a nice bottle of wine shared by the fire with your girl. fast, easy, no mess. (the meal, not the girl)

The fire in the kitchen, or the one in the family room?

There were a lot of good suggestions up there, but I'm afraid that all was for naught. The Special Request came in and we're having tacos. Turkey tacos, to be specific. But now I know what I can make for dinner for the rest of the week, though. Thanks.

  13. Turkey tacos?? That sounds kinda nasty.

You just use ground turkey instead of ground beef. The difference in taste is negligible, and they're probably a little bit healthier.

  15. There must be less difference than turkey dogs and beef hot dogs. Turkey ones are gross to me.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone brought that up.
