What song gives you goosebumps

Was busy in the kitchen this morning listening to Joni Mitchell's 1974 Miles of Aisles album. Several times I got delicious goosebumps from tracks where she's backed by the LA Express. Timeless, sublime, and after 48 years still able to trigger something primordial in my brain.

One song that gives me goosebumps is Jacobs Ladder by Rush. But it's got to be the R40 version. They play it little lower and I believe a lower tuning but I'm not sure. Blasting it in my headset sounds soooooo good I love the bass tone and the complicated fills Neil does on the drums. Ooooh so good.

There's a few - but they're due to personal experiences that the song reminds me of. I was listening to a Pearl Jam song the other day, from their "Ten" album, and out of nowhere during the solo I felt a tear form in my eye. My best friend and I were in a band together as kids in the early 90's, and he played lead guitar in the band. He learned that solo and would throw it in other songs, just messing around. Always made me crack up. Haven't seen that guy in a good 10-15 years. Lives halfway around the world now (literally 12 time zones away!). We email now and then - but hearing that solo just brought on the emotions. Those were the days!

i do get chills from some songs though. Those stories aren't as good…
