So I'm pretty bored right now. I want to learn a good song for bass... not just the bass line, but the whole song, all the parts, on the bass. I really enjoy arranging hymns and classic songs for the bass... jsut seeing how much i can throw in, how many parts i can play. I just finished learning Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven". Any suggestions on fun songs to play on bass?

Learn some STP like Wicked Garded and Plush. Easy and fun to play.

STP are OK, but not what I'm looking for. I want to be able to play the song, not just play along... And I don't think i'm quite ready for Classsical music...
    Any other suggestions?

Ahhh, so you want stand alone tunes. I always thought Grieg's (sp?) "In the Hall of the Mountain King" was a fun one to play.
