What sounds better

    What kind of bass would sound better a bass with one J for neck and one musicman for bridge or two J pickups?

    It absolutely depends on the type of music you play and the tone you want.

    A little more info would be good. Also it would be cool if you filled out your profile. That would also give us some insight to your needs.

    Ryan plays a Thumb doesn't he?

    That would be two jazz type pickups.

    Correct he plays a warwick thumb bass...argh MM pickups are so sexy.wel....to me...do you think ill get a close tone with mm and J?
     
  7. You could get a J + MM with a coil tap for the MM so you can emulate having 2 Js.
