I think the strings I'm looking for come stock on the Ibanez EDB605.(my bass)
I emailed Ibanez about two years ago and asked them about this, but never got a response. Here is a pic of my bass from the Ibanez site - if you look close I think these are the same strings. [IMG]
Round wound with light blue silk windings at both ends, and they're taper wound at the ball end. (I was too new when I threw away the set after breaking one - I don't know if they are nickle or steel)
If anybody can tell me what strings these are, I'll love them forever. :help:

The strings on the Fender look like flats, not rounds.

Ibanez basses come stock with Elixir strings, but those blue ones are most definately not elixir strings. Maybe e-mail the guy who's selling the Fender.
  6. They are probably Fender flatwound strings if everything on the bass is original as the seller is saying.

    Jazzin' ...Bluesin' and Funkin'

the A and D look like flats while the E and G look like rounds. weird. :meh:
  8. Those are def. flats on that Fender.

    My guess...TI flats.
  9. Something tells me they're Fender flats, 9050s.

TI JFs have red end wrappings.
