what strings come stock on a fender jazz 24

    i know they are fender strings but are they rounds or flats?

    I've never seen a stock Fender with flats on it unless it was a fretless.

    Actually, they are Taperwounds, .045 - .110.

    sweet ... i just litterally got home from picking up this baby from wilis music.

    it's sooooooo sexy and i love the strings :)

    Hmm . . . I kinda thought so, but I wasn't sure. I just went by what Fender's specs said. Thanks for the clarification.

    According to the specs, the same strings that came on my Highway One P-Bass.. taperwounds. I thought they were actually a bit crappy myself.. not much bite, nor much thump.. not a lot of sustain. Just kinda average.
