I hate Ernie ball for example but I can't play without Fender.

I'm playing with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky.
Once i used those Fender strings, but goddammit! they just sounds like crap.

    Just my objective opinion

  4. haha, yeah:p I know they suck for everything exept for slapping wich I do a lot on my Daion Bass. Otherwise I'm open for suggestions. But I do not use Ernie. Hate'em

  5. yes the ernie ball slinkys (super or any of them) sound and feel the best on my bass

  6. I think it depends much on the bass yes. But The ernie ball strings break so fast. Thats why I don't like em

It depends on the bass, but I have liked the following:
    GHS Super Steels
    D'Addario Nickel XLs, Chromes
    Dean Markley SR2000s (Will Lee)
    Dingwall Voodoos

Dean Markley SR2000's for sure, finest string I've ever played. Used to string everything with Rotosounds. Never thought too much of D'Addario, Ernie Ball or Fender strings that I've played. GHS boomers are pretty good too, in my humble opinion.
