What style/type of bass would you classify the Lakland 55-02/94?

    I'm going with TWEENER (between a Jazz, P-Bass & MM). What are your thoughts TB???

    They are good basses, and they either work for you or they don't.

  5. The body is like a musicman stingray with the lower horn cut deeper and shorter for easy upper range access.

    The pickups are like stingray + jazz bass.

    I would say a 55-94 is non of the above.

    It's not a copy of anything.

    It does it's own thing and does it very well.

    Stingray/Jazz but it sounds nothing like either, IMO.

    I would classify it as versatile. My nephew has one and it is capable of a lot of tones.

    Simply put, it is a cool bass.
