What to buy/Cort Basses?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Cambass, Jun 12, 2001.

  1. I'm currently looking around for a new bass, it will be my second bass and I can only stretch to $400 AUD(after borrowing some cash!). On a website I saw a "Cort Precision Bass", it's bassically a Fender Precision copy.

Has anyone owned/played one of these basses? I had a look on their website but it didn't seem to have the Precision model on there.

Also, can anyone recommend a decent left handed bass for under $400 (AUD)?

    Thanks

The Cort probably isn't a great buy. It's about the same quality as a Samick P bass copy. You'd be better off saving for something less sucky.

  4. One of my students recently purchased the Cort P-bass copy for $329. I haven't actually heard it yet, and haven't heard good things about it, but he seemed to be very happy with it.
