well i found out that it'd only be $250 and a 3 week wait to get a new sterling neck. i could probably sell my moses neck for about 200 bucks.

so here's the question - is it worth it to get the new neck? the body isn't perfect but its in nice shape, and i wouldn't hesitate to ask $800 for it with or without graphite neck. but i'm worried about finding a buyer with the graphite neck, or that it's probably worth less in it's current condition...

    what to do....

I'd leave the neck on. Plenty of Sterlings out there with wooden necks! If I didn't have the Kingston I'd be interested myself.
