I currently am running a Ric 4003 into an Ampeg SVT350 (MOSFET) pushing an Ampeg 1x15 and a SWR Workingman 4x10, but I'm not satisfied with the sound.

Out of curiousity, what cabinets/basses do you Ampeg SVT users run through?

    Thanks for your input!

Nice, tight bass. Not deep enough for me though. Gets plenty loud.

What don't you like about the sound? That set up should sound great. If you don't like the SWR, get an Ampeg 410 to put on top of the 15. I use a
Warwick Thumb bass through an Ampeg B4r through an Ampeg 610hlf and a Carvin 210 wedge btw. Sometimes I use two bag end 15 cabs instead of the 610.

I think my gripe with the sound might lay with the SWR cabinet -- I don't think the Workingman Series are comparable to other SWR cabs (i.e. Goliath) in terms of sound quality or construction. I do like how the Ampeg 15" fills out the low end...I guess it's the top end that could be better.

Anyone have experience running SVTs through Eden cabs?

I could be convinced to part with my Ampeg 4x10....
