What to use to clean my bridge/tuners?

I was wiping down my fretboard today and though that I might like to take off my bridge and tuners and somehow clean them up. My bridge is realy dusty (inside where I can't reach) and both the bridge and tuners are really worn/grimy looking. Should I just soak them in vinegar overnight, or would that do something horrible?

I usually use naptha (lighter fluid). No water to cause rust. For routine cleaning I like to use a feather duster to get in areas like bridges.

Q-tips work great to get those hard to reach areas!!!

    I dust off with a soft-bristle brush.
