It sounds A LOT like "Los Fantomas"

which was a project band of Mike Patton(mr. bungle, faith no more)

I believe they categorized themselves as noise-core or noise-rock.

    Who cares about labels.

it's very good though, the band is tight in such a frantic setting that's pretty impressive.
  2. Hey, thanks! It's starts turning into a normal song by the end.

bet that was fun to EQ as a whole =)

too cool. psychadelic speed metal jam band with groovy samples and a brit-pop/trance ending. Phishallica Head?

like the feedback induced afro-beat outtro.

curious, up to the lyrical thing (maybe that too) is this composed, or is this improv?

also, when you guys perform this, how do you work the samples, sounded like you might have been triggering them rather than sequenced, and i'm curious what you use as triggers - synth/vdrums/vbass/vguitar per chance?

anyway, fun work, much enjoyed. thanks fer sharing.

He uses an NES controller(from the 8 bit system) hooked up to a laptop.
  7. Wow! Thanks for all the feedback!
Yeah. That's the first track from our album Chewbacalypse Now. It was a BITCH to mix. I do all of the sampling live via Mr. Tickles.
  8. Oh. And that song was competely composed before hand, and not improv. Our practices are pretty fun.
  9. MY GOD!!! Thats one of the best things I've listened to in a long time. Tell me if you guys ever come to rhode Island!

oh my god...that is ****ing insane, I love it, its really rockin. You have a really nice bass distortion sound in it, and it soudns like your guitarist is using a strat with singles. Very nice, kinda norma jeanish in the beginning with the minor 2nds \m/.
  11. Oh, and the guitarist did most of this with a hollow-body Ibanez jazz guitar. He treats that thing like a red-headed step child.
