What woods are these?

    These are pics of tombowlus's basses. Hope he doesn't mind me using the pics but i love his finnish :p
  2. it looks like, Spalted maple top, maple neck (proberly rock) and what looks like a good mohogany boby,but could but something else. bubinga?
  3. Spalted Maple for the top for sure and I'm going to guess either Mahogany or Padouk for the body wood, Ebony FB, and Mac Ebony covers and knobs.

    The body is Etimoe. I think that is Jerzy's standard body wood.

    I didn't know that Tom Bowlus had bought this bass.

    I'm sorry, but what's "proberly rock"? Am I missing something?

    Sorry for that last post. I don't know what I was thinking, but after reading it again, I think it was supposed to be "probably rock" as in probably rock maple. I feel like a microbe! :bag:

    Yup, spalted (and I would say also flamed) maple top, etimoe body, and ebony board. To be honest, the pictures don't do it justice. It's quite striking. Jerzy is an artist!
