What woods are used on 1988 Thumb BO?

    I think the neck and fretboard are Wenge but the body is what I'm not sure about. Bubinga or Ovangkol? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

    Are you sure of the year? I don't remember there being a bolt-on version of the Thumb in 1988. From what I recall (and what I see in the unofficial Warwick History at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-f0qFeIpPEnY01jWkw3enNaMzQ/edit ), the bolt-in models started around 1992.

    Early Thumb bolt-ons had walnut bodies and wenge necks.
