I bought a new MIM J (love it by the way). It was left handed and I heard Fender hasn't made them lefty for a few years. It's not previously owned though I could tell it was older. A few scratches from being tried out by people with belt buckles . The serial number is 8000317. Trying to figure out what year.

But anyways it plays great. Beautiful neck. Great sound. Great for slapping aswell which is a fun bonus.

Whats the letter before the number? MIMs always have one as far as I know. I think fender still makes mim leftys, though the available colors may have changed.

thank you very much. I'm pleased. I was hoping for a 98. Heard that was a good year.
