This cabinet sounds great if you have enough power. Nick epifani says "the more the better" and he is right. I have tried this cab with an old GK400rb and it was not enough power to make the cab sound good. I used to have a stewart 1.2 that I used bridged with the 112 in it was a LOT of sound but I eventually sold the stewart.
I am looking for a powerful yet not too big or heavy head that sounds warm. I tried the Walter Woods but found it to be too thin and trebly sounding. Maybe I should buy a Stewart PA again and some kind of preamp, or maybe use my Roscoe Lg3005 18v bass directly into the Stewart and the 112.
What do you guys use with this cab?

I run an Ashdown ABM 500RC EVO into my 112 and I love the combination. Sweet tone and loud. If you get the chance, I reccomend you give an Ashdown a try.

Which Walter Woods did you try? Was it an older one, or one of the new ones? I just picked up a new Stereo version, and I can get very warm tones out of it.

One of the best tones i'd ever heard was an SVT-II into an Epifani 112.
